ETS Records was started in 2004 by record producer JD Walker.
In the summer of 2010, the song craftsman co-wrote the Billboard Hot 100 pop anthem, "La La La" by Auburn Featuring Iyaz, and since then, there’s been no looking back. As evident in JD’s subsequent dance floor bangers, his undeniable synth melodies and masterful vocal comps have made this Los Angeles native a ‘go-to’ studio guru for label A&R in the know.
JD’s seemingly innate sense of what works in contemporary music is a reflection of his worldly experiences both in and out of the studio.
Having lived in Jamaica, the West Indies, and around the United States, JD's exposure to a diverse array of music and cultures has helped to shape the lush sonic palette from which he draws his driving production style.
Formerly trained as a musician, JD was introduced to music from a young age. He learned to play the piano and keyboards, while finding inspiration in the music found within his parents’ record collection. As a fierce desire to create powerful music was satiated from work as a studio musician and engineer, his true calling would be realized as he developed into a full-time music producer in his mid-20's.
